The dust of election day<\/a> is settling and I\u2019m getting back to Garcia.\u00a0 Oh,,,, I can\u2019t forget Rossini.\u00a0 So, tomorrow I will be on my way to participate in a talent search in the name of Rossini.\u00a0 I\u2019m lending my ears to The Palm Springs Opera Guild Of The Desert<\/a> to hear a few hopeful youth sing some music of Pesaro\u2019s Swan<\/a> as we look for another winner for Peggy Cravens Rossini Award<\/a>.<\/p>\n

By the time I get back from visiting California, I will have added a bunch of stuff to the single page<\/a> now standing guard over my virtual Garcia garden.\u00a0 I want it to be a worthy a companion to the grand master\u2019s writings and since a few copies of A COMPLETE TREATISE on THE ART OF SINGING: Part One are stacked in my office ready for distribution, I should serve Garcia as well as Rossini while I\u2019m on the road.<\/p>\n

Now that I have \u201cBook (self) Publishing\u201d sufficiently understood to get started, the Garcia sales channel will open as soon as my shipping department manager,<\/p>\n

gets back from warmer, dryer weather out west.<\/p>\n

I really do hate to leave my furry friends and the love of my life, Debbie, who took our picture, behind but retirement does not mean domestic bliss and total inaction.\u00a0 We should all have so much to do that a lifetime seems too short to get it done.\u00a0 I have to admit to this attitude as I consider any time scale.\u00a0 An hour is never enough for a lesson, a day will allow me only enough time to weed 10% of the real garden surrounding our house and my life seems so small in the face of my mission to clear the air about singing.\u00a0 Going to LA is just a small 2800 mile, 1 week step toward promoting good, even great singing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll be back.<\/p>\n
